Pairing Aperitifs, fish, refined dishes
A Franciacorta DOCG in magnum like this Cuvée Royale from Tenuta Montenisa, by Marchese Antinori, expresses an elegant, measured profile. The perlage is fine and regular, while the nose opens with notes of yeast, bread crust and ripe white fruit, with a citrus hint that keeps the sip vibrant. The body is harmonious: freshness balances with a controlled softness and a pleasant savoriness that accompanies the lingering finish without weighing it down. The magnum bottle amplifies the softness of the tasting experience, giving the wine greater depth without losing momentum.

It works well as a characterful aperitif but also stands up to more structured pairings: raw fish dishes and shellfish, fish-based risottos and flavorful first courses, as well as light fried preparations. Serve well-chilled in flutes or sparkling wine glasses to appreciate its bubbles and aromatic finesse; excellent for convivial moments when you seek a balance between elegance and immediate pleasure.
