Famoso Rubicone IGT - I Muretti is a white wine that immediately enchants with its distinctive character and lively freshness. Produced in the Emilia-Romagna region, an area with a rich winemaking tradition, this wine is primarily made from Famoso grapes, an indigenous vine recently rediscovered and appreciated for its ability to fully express the peculiarities of the local terroir.

In the glass, Famoso Rubicone IGT from I Muretti displays a light, bright, and inviting straw-yellow color. On the nose, it offers an aromatic bouquet that evokes sensations of fresh fruit, such as peach and apricot, followed by subtle floral notes of acacia and wisteria. This olfactory complexity is the result of careful winemaking aimed at preserving all the natural aromas of the grapes.

On the palate, the wine is balanced with a pleasant acidity that supports its structure. Freshness is the distinctive feature, making it extremely enjoyable and drinkable. The lingering aftertaste leaves space for reminiscences of fresh fruit and a light minerality, a testament to the land of origin.

An excellent companion for dishes based on fish, seafood, or as an aperitif. It is best served at around 8-10°C to enhance all its aromatic qualities.

Recommended for those who love white wines that offer both ease of drinking and aromatic complexity. A specimen that embodies the elegance and freshness that only the wines from this specific territory can offer.

A farm and agritourism estate in Montescudo-Monte Colombo (Rimini) producing artisan wines and operating a shop, restaurant and guest rooms, with attention to respectful agricultural practices and spontaneous fermentations.
Region: Emilia-Romagna
Country: Italia
Grapes: Sangiovese, Rebola (Grechetto gentile), Famoso, Trebbiano
Produced using spontaneous fermentations and non-chemical agricultural practices. Located in Valconca, with a strong territorial identity linked to the Adriatic Sea. Multifunctional estate: wines, agritourism, restaurant and farm shop. Distinctive wine ranges: Complice and Lulone, Libera and Almadira.
Winery history
Family-run, the estate began as a small farm and agritourism business. The founding partners have gradually developed the wine production while maintaining simple, hands-on methods, from hand-harvested grapes to winemaking using traditional, natural techniques.
Production philosophy
Respectful cultivation of soil and vines, hand harvesting, spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts, and the use of technology only when necessary: the aim is to let the wines express vintage, terroir and time.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the hills of Valconca, on moderately clayey soils, and are strongly influenced by the nearby Adriatic Sea, which shapes the wines' aromatic profile.
