The Sangiovese Rubicone IGT "Lulone" produced by I Muretti winery is an authentic expression of the Emilia-Romagna terroir. This red wine is crafted exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, one of the most representative and beloved varieties in Italy. The name "Rubicone" recalls the ancient river that marked the boundary of the Roman Republic, adding historical value to the denomination.

"Lulone" displays a deep and seductive ruby red color. On the nose, it offers a rich and complex bouquet with notes of ripe cherries, plums, and hints of sweet spices like vanilla and black pepper, inherited from a skilled maturation in wood. On the palate, the wine is robust yet harmonious, with a solid tannic structure that promises great longevity. The acidity is well balanced, contributing to the wine’s enduring freshness, while the fruity flavors blend with slight roasted and spicy notes, leaving a persistent and pleasantly warm aftertaste.

Ideal to pair with grilled red meats, game dishes, and aged cheeses, this Sangiovese Rubicone IGT is an excellent choice for those looking for a wine that combines tradition and quality. The recommended serving temperature is between 16-18°C to enhance all its aromatic facets.

The I Muretti winery, known for its commitment to using environmentally respectful cultivation and production methods, has created in "Lulone" a wine that reflects passion and attention to detail. A must for lovers of Sangiovese who seek authenticity and respect for tradition as the secrets to a quality wine.

Respectful cultivation of soil and vines, hand harvesting, spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts, and the use of technology only when necessary: the aim is to let the wines express vintage, terroir and time.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the hills of Valconca, on moderately clayey soils, and are strongly influenced by the nearby Adriatic Sea, which shapes the wines' aromatic profile.
