Produced in the heart of the renowned Franciacorta region, this sparkling wine represents the excellence of the territory in terms of aromas and flavors, thanks to a meticulous selection of grapes and a carefully managed winemaking process.

The Franciacorta Pas Dosè Riserva DOCG is known for its distinct character and elegant personality. This wine is a pas dosé, meaning that no sugar is added after the second fermentation, resulting in unmatched purity and a lively freshness that enhances the natural qualities of the wine. The Riserva undergoes an extended maturation in the cellar exceeding 30 months, allowing the development of complexity and structure that are clearly perceived on the palate.

On the nose, the Franciacorta Pas Dosè Riserva DOCG offers a sophisticated bouquet with notes of white-fleshed fruits, hints of brioche and yeast, enriched by delicate touches of dried fruit that perfectly intertwine with a slight mineral after-scent. In the mouth, it is vigorous and consistent, with fine and persistent bubbles that lead to a clean and surprisingly long finish.

Tasting this sparkling wine is a sensory experience that invites special moments, perfect for accompanying refined dishes such as seafood appetizers, delicate risottos, or as the undisputed star of a particularly meaningful celebration. Its presentation, with an elegant bottle and a meticulously detailed label, also makes it an excellent gift option for lovers of quality wine.

The Franciacorta Pas Dosè Riserva DOCG by Girolamo Bosio is a prestigious choice for any collector or lover of premium Italian wines, embodying the spirit and winemaking tradition of one of the most famous areas for the production of high-quality sparkling wine in Italy.

Region: Piemonte (Langhe, La Morra / Castiglione Falletto)
Country: Italia
Founded: 1976
Grapes: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Chardonnay
Family-owned winery operating for multiple generations. Vineyards distributed across the historic crus of La Morra and Castiglione Falletto. Portfolio featuring various Barolo labels as well as Nebbiolo Langhe, Barbera and Dolcetto. Emphasis on parcel-based vinification and traditional methods. Renovated tasting room and wine shop open to the public.
Winery history
The Bovio family has been in La Morra for generations. In the 1950s and 1960s Alessandro Bovio farmed grapes on a small scale. In the 1970s Gianfranco renovated the winery, and in the following years the estate began selling Nebbiolo and Barolo. Since then the estate has expanded and modernized the winery, and management has gradually passed to the next generations.
Production philosophy
The winemaking approach is founded on respect for tradition and the land: each vineyard is vinified separately to express the characteristics of the individual cru, with artisanal care in the vineyard and cellar and aging in large casks where appropriate. Attention is focused on patience, precise management of the parcels and fidelity to the character of the Langhe.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located in La Morra and partly in Castiglione Falletto, with estate crus designated as Annunziata, Rocchettevino, Parussi, Gattera and Arborina. The estate reports approximately ten hectares of vineyards distributed across the principal MGAs of the Langhe, with vinifications carried out separately by parcel.
Awards and recognitions
Bovio's wines have received high ratings from international critics: in particular, their Barolo expressions have earned high scores from James Suckling, Robert Parker and Wine Spectator across several vintages.
