On the nose, Fronton Rouge Negrette Alabets offers a complex bouquet dominated by ripe fruits such as plums and blackberries, accompanied by subtle spicy notes and a slight floral touch of violets, typical of Negrette. On the palate, the wine is robust yet harmonious, with well-integrated tannins that promise a good evolution with aging. The estate is located in the heart of the Saint-Émilion appellation; the official website records the founding of Château Plaisance in 1881. The property passed into the management of the Egan family in 2005–2006, and since then the owners have renovated the cellars and modernized the vineyard while retaining traditional Bordeaux winemaking practices.
