Il Furmint Petracs di Oremus è un vino bianco emblematico, che rappresenta perfettamente l'eccellenza e la tradizione della regione di Tokaj, in Ungheria. Prodotto con uve Furmint coltivate nei vigneti storici di Petracs, questo vino si distingue per la sua complessità aromatica e la struttura elegante.

Nel calice, si presenta con un colore giallo paglierino brillante e riflessi dorati. Al naso offre un bouquet intenso e variegato, dominato da note fruttate di mela verde, agrumi, e sottili sfumature di pietra focaia e fiori bianchi. Con il tempo, emergono anche sentori di miele e spezie dolci che ne arricchiscono ulteriormente il profilo olfattivo.

Al palato, il Furmint Petracs sorprende per la sua acidità vivace e la mineralità netta, tipica del terroir vulcanico di Tokaj. La struttura è piena e ben bilanciata, con un finale lungo e avvolgente che lascia una piacevole sensazione di freschezza. Tokaj Winery, located in Tolcsva (Hungary), is part of the Tokaj project of the Vega Sicilia group (Álvarez family). It produces wines typical of the Tokaj appellation: botrytized sweet wines (Aszú, Late Harvest, Eszencia) and characterful dry white wines such as Mandolás and Petrács.

Winery history
The Oremus project was launched with investment from the Álvarez family to revive quality production in the Tokaj region after the communist era. The winery was developed by combining modern techniques with a revival of local traditions, enhancing the historic underground cellars and the vineyards in the Tolcsva area.
Production philosophy
Uniting respect for Tokaj's winemaking tradition with contemporary winemaking technologies and a rigorous selection of grapes. The approach favors native varieties and the production of both botrytis sweet wines and dry white wines distinguished by acidity and minerality.
Terroir and vineyards
Tokaj–Hegyalja, a historic wine region in northeastern Hungary dominated by the Zemplén Mountains. The area features volcanic soils and a microclimate favourable to the development of Botrytis cinerea. The winery is located in the village of Tolcsva, in the heart of the historic Tokaj area.

Oremus wines have received broad international critical attention and high scores in specialized publications; they are frequently reviewed positively for their Aszú expressions and their single-vineyard white wines.
