The Grumarello Carmignano Riserva DOCG from Artimino presents itself as a well-structured red wine, balancing intensity and finesse. In the glass it shows a deep colour with aromas of ripe red and dark fruit, subtle spice notes and earthy nuances; the bouquet is complex without being overpowering. On the palate it is full-bodied, with present yet smooth tannins, balanced acidity and a persistent finish that invites another sip.

It pairs well with roasted meats, braises and hard cheeses, and also complements hearty home-style dishes. Recommended serving temperature is around 16–18 °C and decanting can help open the aromatic profile. The tannic framework supports the wine’s substance and ensures good drinkability even at the end of a meal; the Imperial bottling from Artimino is suited to sharing on convivial occasions.
