This vintage 1915 Armagnac from La Licorne, signed Sasu Un Petit Grain, presents itself as a truly rare specimen in the category of vintage distillates. On the nose there are memories of ripe dried fruit, candied citron and a faint note of mentholated tobacco, supported by hints of vanilla and sweet spices that testify to a long time in wood. The overall impression remains elegant and balanced, with an aura of depth rather than power, suitable for those seeking complexity without excess.

On the palate the sip is soft and enveloping: the texture is silky, the sweetness balanced by a pleasant sapidity and by a persistence that leaves toasted and leather echoes. It should be enjoyed in small measures, in a tulip glass and at a temperate temperature, to appreciate its layers slowly. The wooden case that accompanies it also makes it an elegant collector’s piece or a gift for those who appreciate great vintages.
