The 1967 vintage of La Licorne is an Armagnac of surprising depth, carrying the richness of time without ostentation. On the nose it opens on ripe dried fruit and darker notes, with echoes of plum and fig, nuances of hazelnut and a touch of leather; the wood is present but elegant, with vanilla tones and sweet spices that support without overpowering. The palate is dense and caressing, warm yet perfectly balanced; the softness envelops without weighing down, and the long finish reveals measured aromatic echoes.

It is best appreciated in small sips, in tulip-shaped glasses slightly warmed by the palm of the hand; ideal as a contemplative after-dinner drink, well paired with dark chocolate, aged cheeses or a balanced cigar. The 70 cl bottle presented in a wooden case is designed for storage and for the collector: a piece that speaks of history and craft, to be kept in a cool place away from direct light.
