Made by Sasu Un Petit Grain, this 1999 vintage Armagnac presents an elegant and measured character: on the nose it reveals a complexity that alternates dried and stewed fruit — plum and fig — with fresher notes of orange peel and light floral sensations; the presence of the wood is well calibrated, offering vanilla and sweet spices without overpowering. On the palate the sip is warm and enveloping, supported by a nice acidity that keeps the spirit lively and lengthens its persistence; the texture is soft but decisive, with returns of ripe fruit, cocoa and a hint of hazelnut that complete the profile.

The wooden box packaging makes it suitable as a gift or for careful storage: it is best appreciated served in a tulip glass at a slightly cool room temperature. It is a bottle for contemplation but also capable of pairing with desserts based on caramel, dark chocolate or aged cheeses; ideal for those seeking a mature spirit, of good depth and expressive clarity.
