In the glass it opens with a deep amber and golden highlights, announcing an aromatic profile that is rich but never coarse. On the nose there are dried fruits and plum jam, delicate notes of vanilla and sweet spices, with light hints of tobacco and leather that add complexity. The palate is full, warm and smooth: the structure supports a fragrant weave of mature flavors, while freshness and a discreet sapidity keep everything elegant and flowing. The persistence focuses on spices and a return of cooked fruit, with a long, enveloping finish.

This 1995 Bas Armagnac, presented as Brut de Fût, delivers a direct expression of the cask and maturation without many filters, offering a sincere and immediate character. Presented in a wooden case, it is ideal both as a bottle to keep or to gift; best enjoyed in a tulip glass at around 18–20 °C. Excellent for contemplative sipping, it pairs with dark chocolate, aged cheeses or small dry pastries.
