Project 1 Albana Secco DOCG - My Albana - Leone Conti is a white wine that encapsulates the essence of the hills of Romagna, where Albana grapes are cultivated with dedication and respect for tradition. This wine is produced by the Leone Conti winery, known for its passion in enhancing the native vines of the region.

Leone Conti's Albana Secco DOCG features a straw yellow color with golden highlights, an indicator of its richness and maturity. On the nose, this wine offers a complex and intriguing bouquet, with notes of ripe fruit such as peach and apricot, enriched by hints of white flowers and a light nuance of vanilla that stems from the meticulous winemaking process.

On the palate, Project 1 Albana Secco DOCG stands out for its extraordinary balance between acidity and minerality, typical of the terroir of origin. Its structure is elegant and well-balanced, with a lingering finish that brings back the fruity and floral aromas perceived on the nose.

This wine is an ideal pairing with fish dishes, shellfish, and fresh cheeses. Additionally, thanks to its versatility, it can also be paired with dishes from international cuisine that require a wine with character and sophistication.

My Albana - Leone Conti is more than a wine; it is an authentic expression of the Romagna territory that promises to offer unique sensory experiences. Ideal for those looking for a wine that tells the story and passion of viticulture in this magnificent Italian region.

Winery history
The Conti family has been involved in viticulture since the 1950s: it was Antonietta Conti who preserved local varieties such as Centesimino. In 1989 Leone Conti took over the estate and began its expansion; in 2013 Gianfrancesco Conti joined the estate, which completed a full conversion to organic farming in 2017. In 2018 the property also opened the Locanda della Fortuna, an agriturismo in the Faenza hills.
Production philosophy
It combines tradition, technology and creativity by working mainly with native grape varieties, following organic practices, hand-harvesting and keeping winemaking interventions to a minimum to express the terroir and biodiversity of the Colli Faentini.
Terroir and vineyards
Situated in the foothills of Faenza, between the localities of Santa Lucia and Oriolo dei Fichi, in a hilly landscape characterized by rich biodiversity and the deep-rooted winemaking tradition of Romagna.
