Pairing Meat fish

Anghingò is made with Ruggine grapes, a new "experiment" for a vine native to the Modena area that has inspired with its fruity aromas of pears and its adaptability to the soils of the estate. A drinkable white wine whose vinification involves fermentation in 50% new barriques, with maturation of 4 months sur Lines in barrique, and refinement of 8 months in bottle before being put on the market.

At the sight it appears of straw yellow color. The olfactory profile is persuasive, aromas of green tea and vanilla stand out, as well as fruity hints of Williams pears and mango. The sip is mineral and sapid, structured and balanced.

We recommend pairing with first and second courses of white meat and fish.

Winery history
The Conti family has been involved in viticulture since the 1950s: it was Antonietta Conti who preserved local varieties such as Centesimino. In 1989 Leone Conti took over the estate and began its expansion; in 2013 Gianfrancesco Conti joined the estate, which completed a full conversion to organic farming in 2017. In 2018 the property also opened the Locanda della Fortuna, an agriturismo in the Faenza hills.
Production philosophy
It combines tradition, technology and creativity by working mainly with native grape varieties, following organic practices, hand-harvesting and keeping winemaking interventions to a minimum to express the terroir and biodiversity of the Colli Faentini.
Terroir and vineyards
Situated in the foothills of Faenza, between the localities of Santa Lucia and Oriolo dei Fichi, in a hilly landscape characterized by rich biodiversity and the deep-rooted winemaking tradition of Romagna.
