A territorial interpretation of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Wines featuring Verdicchio Classico and Superiore Vineyards on the cru Croce del Moro Use of indigenous and selected yeasts Wines vinified in stainless steel and concrete with varied aging.
Winery history
The Cavallaro family has been active in the Castelli di Jesi area since the 1970s, with a family history that transformed the local production of Verdicchio into a small winery led by Bruno and his family. The project is rooted in the legacy of Giuseppe Cavallaro and has developed while preserving a strong territorial identity.
Production philosophy
Pursuit of quality through traditional practices and artisanal care: the winery interprets Verdicchio as the wine that expresses the territory's identity, favoring winemaking methods that emphasize acidity, freshness and ageing in bottle; it also notes the use of indigenous and selected yeasts.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards are located in the Castelli di Jesi district, with particular reference to the cru Croce del Moro. The microclimate is influenced by mountain air from the Apennines, which promotes marked diurnal temperature variation in summer, and some vineyards reach elevations of around 500 m above sea level.
