Winery history
The company's history is rooted in family tradition: the first vineyards were planted by Celso Abbona, and the family progressively expanded and selected vineyards in the hills of the Langhe and Barolo. In the 1990s the winery began experiments, and in the early 2000s a semi-subterranean cellar was built and inaugurated in 2006; Marziano’s daughters later joined the family business.
Production philosophy
The winery prioritizes its connection to the territory, combined with careful vineyard management and quality in the cellar: respect for the vineyards, attention to viticultural practices, and a pursuit of balance between tradition and experimentation.
Terroir and vineyards
They operate in the Langhe and the Barolo area, with vineyards in historic crus such as Doriolo, Rinaldi, Bricco Barone, Pressenda, Ravera and Cerviano. Headquarters: Borgata San Luigi, 40 – 12063 Dogliani, Piedmont, Italy.
