The Merlot Alto Adige DOC by Alois Lageder comes from vineyards located in the elegant hills of Alto Adige, a land suited for grape varieties that require a cool climate and mineral-rich soils. This Merlot reveals a harmonious and refined character, an authentic expression of the Alto Adige territory. After a patient fermentation and careful aging, often in oak barriques, the wine develops a complex bouquet where notes of ripe cherry, wild berries, and delicate spicy hints emerge.

The body is enveloping, with soft tannins well balanced by a fresh acidity, which gives the sip a pleasant persistence and dynamism. Suitable to accompany red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, this Merlot represents a perfect balance between elegance and structure, embodying the typicality of Alto Adige at its best. A refined choice for those looking for an intense yet elegant and versatile red.
