Merlot Veneto IGT from Santa Margherita offers a direct and pleasant profile, marked by ripe red fruit and light hints of sweet spice. The color is clear and well concentrated; on the nose cherry and plum emerge, accompanied by very delicate herbaceous notes that do not overpower the drink. The palate is immediate but not banal, with a distinctly gastronomic character. The sip is smooth, with polished tannins and a freshness that keeps the wine lively without being aggressive.

On the palate it confirms a medium body, immediate balance and a pleasant persistence that invites a second glass. It pairs well at the table with flavorful first courses, roasted meats and medium-aged cheeses; it is also excellent for grilled white meats. Serve around 16-18°C; a short decantation enhances it if opened before serving. Fresh and easy to approach, it’s a Merlot that works both for everyday meals and for an informal dinner with friends.
