The Mersault 1er Cru Genevrières AOC produced by Benjamin Leroux represents the excellence of Burgundy, a region renowned for its extraordinarily high-quality Chardonnay grapes. This wine is a distillation of expertise and passion, cultivated in one of the most prestigious crus of Meursault.

To the eye, Benjamin Leroux's Mersault 1er Cru Genevrières presents a vivid golden color, a suggestive prelude to its complexity and richness. On the nose, it offers a richly layered bouquet with predominant aromas of ripe white-fleshed fruits, such as peach and pear, coupled with notes of toasted almond and a subtle mineral vein reminiscent of flint.

On the palate, the wine demonstrates impeccable balance. Its texture is creamy and enveloping, with a freshness that cuts through the richness of the palate, bringing balance and vitality. The flavors of ripe fruit blend harmoniously with hints of vanilla and butter, due to a skilled use of new wood during maturation in barriques.

With a long and persistent finish that continues to evolve, it leaves an almost saline sensation, inviting another sip. This wine is ideal to accompany rich dishes such as grilled lobster, creamed mushroom chicken, or even a truffle risotto.

Benjamin Leroux's Mersault 1er Cru Genevrières AOC is not just a wine, but a true sensory experience, capable of representing the quintessence of Burgundy Chardonnay with unparalleled elegance and depth.
