Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC by La Valentina is a red wine that celebrates one of the most representative vines of Abruzzo, known for its ability to produce full-bodied and aromatically rich red wines. La Valentina, located in the heart of the Abruzzo region, is recognized for its dedication to quality and sustainability, focusing on an approach that respects the territory and its ancient winemaking traditions.

This Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is the result of careful work in the vineyard and vinification aimed at enhancing the natural characteristics of the vine. The grapes, grown in optimal positions that benefit from a Mediterranean climate mitigated by the proximity of the sea and the Apennines, are harvested when perfectly ripe to guarantee maximum expression of the fruit and a good tannic structure.

Visually, the wine has an intense ruby red color, with violet reflections that underline its youth. On the nose, it opens with a varied aromatic bouquet, where the notes of ripe red fruits dominate, such as black cherry and plum, enriched by nuances of sweet spices and a light balsamic touch that adds complexity.

In the mouth, La Valentina's Montepulciano d'Abruzzo reveals a solid but harmonious structure, with soft and well-integrated tannins that make the sip pleasantly enveloping. The balance between acidity and body is optimal, supporting a palate rich in red and black fruit flavors, with accents of vanilla and chocolate due to the partial aging in wood. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant mineral vein that invites another sip.

Ideal in combination with robust and savory dishes, such as roast meats, lamb dishes and mature cheeses, La Valentina's Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC is also an excellent conversation wine, capable of accompanying evenings in good company.

In conclusion, La Valentina's Montepulciano d'Abruzzo represents an authentic and characterful expression of the Montepulciano grape, offering a tasting experience that combines the Abruzzo winemaking tradition with a modern and sustainable vision of viticulture, testifying to the passion and the winery's commitment to the production of high quality wines.
