Winery history Fattoria La Valentina (La Valentina)

La Valentina was founded in 1990 in the hills near Pescara; since 1994 the estate has been run by the brothers Sabatino, Roberto and Andrea Di Properzio. Over the years the estate has worked to enhance the local terroirs and improve quality with an approach increasingly attentive to the vineyard's biological balance.

Production philosophy

The company states an approach that prioritizes respect for the terroir, the reduction of chemical interventions and environmental sustainability; the goal is to produce wines that are "healthier and more authentic" by intervening as little as possible in natural processes and adopting responsible agricultural and business practices.

Terroir and vineyards

The vineyards are located in the hills of the lower Pescara Valley, within the municipality of Spoltore and neighboring municipalities in the Province of Pescara. The microclimate, influenced by proximity to the sea and the Apennines, contributes to the character of the wines produced.

Awards and recognitions

Individual wines have received ratings and scores from major publications and critics for certain vintages; scores for the Pecorino and other wines from the estate are noted.
