The Nebbiolo Langhe DOC by Anna Maria Abbona comes from the Piedmontese hills characterized by a unique terroir, rich in clay and limestone, ideal for enhancing the potential of this native grape variety. Cultivated with care and respect for tradition, the Nebbiolo reveals in this wine all its elegance and complexity. After careful fermentation, the aging takes place in wooden barrels that give structure and roundness, while maintaining freshness and finesse.

In the glass, it appears with a bright ruby red color, while on the nose it reveals varied aromas of withered rose, ripe cherry, and spicy notes of black pepper and tobacco. On the palate, it is powerful and savory, with well-integrated tannins and a persistent finish that recalls the minerality of the territory. Perfect paired with red meats, roasts, and aged cheeses, it is a refined example of the Nebbiolo expression in the Langhe context.

Winery history
The story of a farming family from the Langhe that revived local viticulture: after years of mixed farming, management passed to Anna Maria, and she relaunched the estate’s production and the work on its high‑altitude vineyards. The property was rebuilt from the 1990s onwards and the estate has grown to include new vineyards and a presence in Monforte.
Production philosophy
Production focused on respect for the land and the pursuit of elegance and freshness: single-varietal wines that express the specificity of the soil and altitude, made using practices that prioritize craftsmanship, limited use of technology, and a focus on sustainability.
Terroir and vineyards
Langhe: high-altitude vineyards mainly in Farigliano, areas of Alta Langa in Marsaglia and vineyards for Barolo in Monforte d’Alba; calcareous-clay soils and altitudes often above 500 m a.s.l. that enhance freshness and aromaticity.
Awards and recognitions
