Named for its deep violet-black hue, the "Negroamaro Salento IGP - Negramante" from the renowned Paolo Leo winery is a superb interpretation of the typical characteristics of the Puglia region. This wine stands out not only for its deep dark ruby color but also for its complex aromatic bouquet and balanced structure.

On the nose, Negramante offers intense notes of ripe cherry, plum, vanilla, and light spices, thanks to meticulous maceration followed by aging in wooden barrels that soften its intense tannins and enhance its rich aromas. On the palate, it is rich and robust, with an elegant weave of fruity flavors that blend with touches of tobacco and dark chocolate, creating a captivating and persistent tasting experience.

Production and winemaking are handled with the utmost care: the Negroamaro grapes, typical of Puglia, are rigorously selected and hand-picked at their peak ripeness. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for several months, allowing a harmonious fusion of flavors and greater complexity.

Perfect for accompanying robust dishes such as roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses, Negramante expresses its character best when served at a temperature of 18°C. It is recommended to decant it at least an hour before serving to allow all its aromatic nuances to unfold.

A true gem for lovers of Puglian wines, Paolo Leo's Negroamaro Salento IGP represents an authentic and passionate expression of the local terroir. With its balanced complexity and rich aromatic profile, it is destined to captivate the palate of every connoisseur.
