The Nero d'Avola Terre Siciliane DOC by Cusumano is an authentic expression of the Sicilian terroir, encapsulating all the richness and intensity typical of this indigenous variety. This wine is famed for its deep, almost impenetrable ruby red color, which foreshadows the complex aromatic notes that are released to the nose.

At first sniff, Nero d'Avola from Cusumano presents an intriguing bouquet of ripe red fruits such as blackberry and plum, enriched by spicy hints of black pepper and a subtle touch of dark chocolate. The olfactory evolution introduces delicate hints of tobacco and leather, a result of aging in wood that adds complexity without overshadowing the fruit.

On the palate, the wine is full and enveloping, with a well-balanced tannic structure and a pleasant freshness that invites another sip. The acidity is well integrated, leading to a long and persistent finish, where we find notes of ripe fruit and sweet spices.

Perfect to serve with robust Sicilian dishes such as pasta alla norma or spiced lamb, the Nero d'Avola Terre Siciliane DOC by Cusumano is also excellent with aged cheeses or dishes based on grilled red meat. A wine that not only speaks of its origin but also celebrates the passion and attention to detail of the Cusumano family in creating high-quality wines.
