The Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru "Aux Chaignots" by Domaines Faiveley is a superb expression of Pinot Noir, coming from one of the most prestigious parcels of Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the heart of Burgundy. This Premier Cru vineyard, characterized by a unique terroir that combines clay-limestone soil with optimal exposure, allows Domaines Faiveley to produce a wine of exceptional complexity and depth.

Domaines Faiveley, a winery with roots dating back to 1825, is renowned for its dedication to expressing the quintessence of each terroir through rigorous and respectful viticultural and winemaking practices. "Aux Chaignots" is a wine that reflects not only the richness of its Premier Cru but also Faiveley's philosophy, which aims to create wines that are both powerful and elegant, with great aging potential.

Visually, the wine presents a deep ruby red color, a prelude to a complex olfactory experience. On the nose, "Aux Chaignots" offers a range of seductive aromas ranging from ripe red fruits, such as cherry and strawberry, to spicy and earthy notes, with a subtle touch of well-integrated oak adding further layers of complexity.

In the mouth, the wine demonstrates an impeccable balance between tannic structure and acidity, with a medium-full palate revealing intense flavors of red fruit, mineral accents and a refined spicy undertone. The maturation in French oak barriques gives "Aux Chaignots" a silky texture and a long, persistent finish, characterized by an elegant aromatic complexity.

Ideal to be accompanied with rich and tasty dishes, such as red meats, game and mature cheeses, the Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru "Aux Chaignots" by Domaines Faiveley is a wine that promises to evolve magnificently over time, becoming increasingly harmonious and complex with the years of maturation in the cellar.

With its meticulous approach to viticulture and winemaking, Domaines Faiveley continues to be a point of reference for lovers of great Burgundy wines, offering tasting experiences that are testimony to the excellence and authenticity of the Nuits-Saint-Georges terroir .
