Piandelprete Dolcetto d'Asti DOC by Bersano offers an immediate, sincere profile: it shows a luminous ruby color and a bouquet focused on ripe red fruit, with raspberry and cherry, delicate floral nuances and a touch of gentle spice. On the nose it’s inviting without artifice, clean and direct, and on the palate it confirms an easy-drinking character; the entry is soft, the freshness well balanced and the fruity intensity remains the protagonist without overpowering. It’s enlivened by a light herbal note that adds freshness and entices another sip.

The structure is lean but supported, with soft tannins and a discreet salinity that carries the sip through to a pleasant finish. Suitable for everyday drinking, ideal with rustic dishes such as baked pasta, cured meats and semi-aged cheeses, but it also stands up to a well-topped pizza; serve it slightly chilled to highlight its vivacity. An excellent choice for those seeking an honest, versatile, ready-to-drink wine. Best enjoyed young, within a few years of purchase; also pleasant slightly chilled (12–14 °C).
