This Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Dry expresses a subtle balance between finesse and immediacy. The perlage is fine and persistent, supporting an aromatic profile dominated by white flowers, apple and ripe pear with a citrusy touch; the residual sweetness, light and well integrated, softens the sip without weighing it down. The texture is flowing, with a creamy, enveloping softness that coexists with a fresh mineral verve, resulting in a harmonious, elegant wine with good persistence.

It lends itself gracefully to aperitifs and seafood starters, but also pairs excellently with delicate fish dishes, sushi and light first courses; it is surprisingly versatile with crustacean preparations and fried dishes that are not too greasy. Serve chilled in a flute or sparkling wine glass to highlight the perlage and freshness; best enjoyed young to capture its immediate fragrance and the pleasant aromatic trail that invites a second glass.
