Torresella's Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso shows an intense ruby color and an aromatic profile centered on dark-berried fruits, notes of undergrowth and a slight spicy hint. On the palate it has good structure: tannins are present but well integrated, lively acidity and a savory texture that supports the sip without weighing it down. The drinking experience balances power and elegance; the finish is solid and of fair persistence, with fruity echoes that balance the tannic drive, making the wine smooth and pleasant even at the end of a meal.

A wine of decisive but not aggressive character, suitable to accompany meat dishes, hearty cured meats and aged cheeses; it also stands up well to stewed or grilled preparations. Serve cool but not cold, around 16–18 °C, and let it breathe for a few minutes to soften the younger tannins. It lends itself to everyday drinking and politely supports convivial occasions: a good choice for those seeking a regional, flavorful red with good food-pairing potential.
