Abuelo 7Y Anejo Rum is an authentic expression of Panamanian savoir-faire. Distilled by Varela Hermanos, a distillery with over a century of history, this rum is aged for seven years in white oak barrels that previously held bourbon. This process gives Abuelo 7Y Rum a rich and complex aromatic profile.
In appearance, it shows a bright amber color. The nose is enveloped by aromas of cooked fruit, chocolate, and a touch of vanilla, while the oak wood offers nuances of sweet spices and a slight tobacco aftertaste. On the palate, the rum is smooth yet significant, with sweetness balanced by notes of dried fruit and a hint of black pepper.
