The Riesling DOC from the Aristos winery represents one of the most elegant interpretations of this noble grape variety, originating from the picturesque Isarco Valley. Known for its unique terroir, where the stony soils and cool mountain climate contribute to creating wines of extraordinary finesse and complexity, this area is ideal for Riesling cultivation.

The wine presents itself with a brilliant, almost crystalline straw-yellow color. On the nose, it is complex and intensely aromatic; citrus notes of lemon and cedar immediately emerge, followed by nuances of white peach and subtle floral touches of jasmine and chamomile. With aeration, delicate mineral traces reminiscent of wet stone, typical of the minerality imparted by the soils of origin, can also be appreciated.

On the palate, the Aristos Riesling reveals itself as fresh and vibrant, with a well-balanced acidity that enhances its drinkability and makes it particularly pleasant and refreshing. The palate is clean, with a return of citrus notes and a persistence that leaves a lively mineral recall in the aftertaste.

Perfect as an aperitif, this Riesling is also an excellent companion for fish and seafood dishes, and can pleasantly surprise with Asian cuisine, thanks to its ability to balance even rather spicy flavors.

A true gem for lovers of aromatic white wines, the Riesling DOC from Aristos captures the essence of the alpine territory of the Isarco Valley, offering a rich and unforgettable sensory experience.

Winery history
The Isarco Valley has an ancient winemaking tradition. Cantina Valle Isarco was founded in 1961 by a group of local winegrowers. Over time its production facilities have been renewed and it expanded its public services with a modern wine shop. In 2021 the winery celebrated its 60th anniversary and refreshed its image and labels.
Production philosophy
Highlighting the distinctive qualities of the mountain terroir through collaboration among small winegrowers: the winery operates as a cooperative to preserve its connection with the local landscape and to focus on grape quality, with particular attention to the white varieties typical of the Isarco Valley.
Terroir and vineyards
The production area is the Valle Isarco, characterized by gravelly, well-ventilated terrain, relatively dry climates and pronounced diurnal temperature variations. The vineyards are planted on steep slopes and terraces at varying elevations and include cru such as the areas around the Monastero di Sabiona.
Awards and recognitions
The winery and several labels from the premium lines have received national and international recognition: medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards, high scores from James Suckling and Falstaff, accolades from Bibenda and VITAE/AIS, and mentions in specialist guides and competitions.
