The Sylvaner DOC from Valle Isarco is a white wine that embodies the freshness and uniqueness of one of Italy's highest and most picturesque wine regions. This wine is made from Sylvaner grapes, a variety that has found its ideal habitat in the cool valleys of Alto Adige, yielding wines of great balance and finesse.

The Sylvaner from Valle Isarco stands out for its straw-yellow color with greenish reflections, hinting at its olfactory and taste characteristics. On the nose, it presents an aromatic bouquet revealing notes of wildflowers, green apples, and a light touch of aromatic herbs, a distinctive element reflecting the region's biodiversity.

On the palate, the Sylvaner DOC is clean and refreshing, with a lively but well-balanced acidity that leads to a pleasant sensation of freshness. The flavors are consistent with the aromas perceived on the nose, enriched by a slight minerality that gives the wine an elegant complexity.

This wine is an excellent choice to accompany light appetizers, fish or seafood dishes, and can be particularly delightful with sushi or sashimi. Additionally, it is ideal as an aperitif, capable of stimulating the palate and preparing it for the flavors of the following courses.

The Sylvaner DOC from Valle Isarco is much more than just a white wine; it is an authentic expression of the alpine terroir, a tribute to the purity and simplicity of nature, which will be appreciated by both beginners and expert sommeliers seeking sophisticated and distinctive wine experiences.

Winery history
The Isarco Valley has an ancient winemaking tradition. Cantina Valle Isarco was founded in 1961 by a group of local winegrowers. Over time its production facilities have been renewed and it expanded its public services with a modern wine shop. In 2021 the winery celebrated its 60th anniversary and refreshed its image and labels.
Production philosophy
Highlighting the distinctive qualities of the mountain terroir through collaboration among small winegrowers: the winery operates as a cooperative to preserve its connection with the local landscape and to focus on grape quality, with particular attention to the white varieties typical of the Isarco Valley.

The production area is the Valle Isarco, characterized by gravelly, well-ventilated terrain, relatively dry climates and pronounced diurnal temperature variations. The vineyards are planted on steep slopes and terraces at varying elevations and include cru such as the areas around the Monastero di Sabiona.
