On the nose there are notes of ripe citrus, green apple and white flowers, accompanied by a hint of fresh herbs; the aroma is clean without excess, with clarity and precision. Overall it offers moderate complexity that invites exploration of its subtle olfactory nuances.

On the palate it shows a slender structure and a balance between acidity and gentle roundness, with recurring citrus notes and a light saline sensation that supports the finish. Acquisita da Markus Molitor nel 2016; rilancio e ricultivazione avviati dal 2017. Prime uscite commerciali moderne: annata 2020 (distribuzione iniziale tramite Place de Bordeaux). Pratiche enologiche tradizionali: raccolta manuale, pressatura a cestello, fermentazioni spontanee e affinamento prolungato.

Winery history
La tenuta nasce come Domäne di Stato prussiana nel 1904; è stata privata alla fine degli anni ’80 e acquisita dal produttore Markus Molitor nel 2016. Dopo lavori di ricultivazione e ristrutturazione iniziati nel 2017, le prime bottiglie commerciali sotto il nome moderno sono state presentate a partire dal 2020.
Production philosophy
Riscoprire le qualità storiche dei vini della Saar privilegiando vigneti ripidi e lavorazioni manuali: vendemmia selettiva a mano, pigiatura a cestello, fermentazioni lente e spontanee, affinamento prolungato (sia in grandi botti di legno sia in acciaio) e maturazione sulle fecce per preservare finezza e mineralità del Riesling.

Monopole nella posizione 'Serriger Vogelsang', su pendii scistosi esposti a sud-sudovest con pendenze fino al 105%. Il vigneto è collocato in un microclima fresco che favorisce una maturazione lenta; le quote indicate sul sito aziendale vanno approssimativamente da 220 a 340 m sul livello del mare.
