The Rosso Colli Euganei DOC from Fasolo is an excellent expression of the volcanic terroir of the Euganean Hills. This wine is the result of masterful winemaking that primarily uses Merlot and Cabernet grapes, grown on mineral-rich soils which bestow a unique characteristic to the wine.

Visually, the Rosso Colli Euganei DOC features an intense ruby-red color, which heralds the complexity and depth of its aromas. On the nose, it reveals notes of ripe red fruits like cherries and plums, enriched by a background of sweet spices and a light thread of aromatic herbs, typical of the varieties used.

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well-structured. The balance between acidity and tannins is impeccable, making this Rosso Colli Euganei DOC pleasantly persistent and versatile in food pairing. The flavors of ripe fruit blend harmoniously with hints of chocolate and coffee, thanks also to a stint in wood which lends the wine a subtle complexity.

Aging in wooden barrels not only enriches the aromatic profile of the wine but also ensures a good aging potential. This wine is ideal to be savored in combination with robust dishes such as grilled red meats, game dishes, or aged cheeses. It is recommended to be served at around 18°C to fully appreciate all its nuances.

The Fasolo winery, with its long tradition and focus on quality, guarantees that each bottle of Rosso Colli Euganei DOC is a faithful expression of the territory and passion for viticulture. This wine will not disappoint those who love well-structured, aromatically rich reds.
