I' Rennero di Gualdo del Re is a red wine from the Tuscan territory, an authentic expression of the Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin (DOCG) Rosso Toscana. This wine is made from selected grapes that embody the winemaking tradition of the region, where the temperate climate and rich soils impart character and structure. The careful aging process enhances the organoleptic qualities, offering a bouquet in which one can recognize sensations of ripe red fruits, light spicy notes, and a pleasant softness on the palate.

The aromatic complexity and balance between tannins and acidity make I' Rennero very versatile in pairings, ideal with grilled red meats or traditional Tuscan cuisine dishes. This wine is a true testament to the savoir-faire of Gualdo del Re and the potential of Tuscany for superior quality red wines.

Winery history
Originally established as a mixed agricultural estate in Suvereto, the winery progressively specialized in viticulture from the 1980s. The arrival of oenologist Barbara Tamburini in the early 2000s marked a shift toward single-varietal wines and crus. In 2022 the estate was acquired by Mauro Gestri, who initiated a plan to renovate and expand the vineyards and winery facilities.
Production philosophy
Enhance the identity of each grape variety by working in the vineyard and cellar with rigor and experimentation to achieve elegance, expressive clarity, and wines capable of conveying the character of the terroir.

Located in Suvereto, on a hillside amphitheatre overlooking the sea and the Island of Elba; the vineyards lie on mixed soils of clay, stone and silt and reach elevations of around 100 m above sea level. The estate cultivates about 27 hectares of vineyard.
