The 100 cl bottle is designed for mixing and culinary use: it gives tiki cocktails and punches personality, stands up to intense flavors and is suitable for flambé preparations. To taste it neat, a few drops of water or an ice cube will soften the edges; served slightly chilled it becomes more rounded. In mixing it deserves cautious dosing: it balances citrus notes and robust bitters, and lends itself well to creative reinterpretations. For pairings it works with dark chocolate, caramel desserts and dishes with a sweet‑savory component; it’s a rum that asks for respect and boldness in the glass.

Distillation

Ageing
Double maturation: initial aging in the place of origin (tropical climate, often in ex‑bourbon) followed by a period of finishing/aging in France in Ferrand casks (ex‑Cognac) or other selected casks (e.g. Pedro Ximénez, special finishes).
