On the palate it confirms a soft, compact development: full body, barely perceptible tannins and a persistence that brings back sweet and slightly toasted aromas. The texture of the sip is warm and enveloping, with a long, clean finish that lingers on memories of roasted almond and a hint of sweet spice. It lends itself to slow tasting, as an after-dinner drink, but also pairs well with dark chocolate, desserts based on dried fruit or aged cheeses; it can be appreciated neat or with a drop of water to open up its aromas.
