The production of this rum follows a clean and precise distillation process, preserving the most delicate aromatic notes and enhancing the authentic character of the sugarcane variety. Not undergoing barrel aging, White Two Indies presents a youthful profile, with a crystalline color and soft texture, where floral, citrus, and fresh vanilla hints emerge. On the palate, it is balanced, with a persistence that invites another sip, perfect for those who love the genuineness of a rum unaffected by wood.
This white rum is ideal for classic cocktails such as the Mojito or Daiquiri, but it is also suitable to be enjoyed neat, offering a clean and enveloping sensory experience, an authentic expression of Amrut's distilling art.

Distillation
For whiskies and gin Amrut predominantly uses copper pot stills and traditional washbacks; for some rums distillation is performed in iron stills from jaggery, followed by blending with aged foreign rums.
Ageing
Maturation in the Indian tropical climate with strong cask/spirit interaction; frequent use of finishing phases in different cask types to create expressions such as Portonova (finishing in port pipes) or preparations with sherry/intermediate sherry.
