Pairing Red meats, aged cheeses
Salina Rosso IGT, produced by Eolia winery, is a red wine that captivates with its extraordinary expression of elegance and intensity, originating from the enchanting Aeolian Islands. This wine results from a skillful combination of native grapes, predominantly Nero d'Avola and Nocera, which reflect the uniqueness of the volcanic terroir and the freshness of the maritime climate.

In appearance, Salina Rosso shows a deep ruby red color, preluding to a complex and enveloping bouquet. On the nose, vibrant notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and plum, are enriched by hints of aromatic herbs, licorice, and a slight toastiness derived from brief aging in barriques.

On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, with well-balanced tannins and a lively acidity that accentuates its freshness. The taste persistence is remarkable, leaving a pleasant velvety and spicy sensation that invites another sip. Salina Rosso IGT pairs perfectly with robust meat dishes, such as stews and roasts, but is also ideal for accompanying aged cheeses and mushroom-based dishes.

Serve at a temperature of 18°C to enhance all its nuances. Salina Rosso IGT is not just a wine to enjoy but also to discover, representing a sensory journey through the winemaking traditions and innovations of the Aeolian Islands. A true gem for connoisseurs seeking a wine with a strong territorial identity.
