San Giovanni Della Sala Orvieto Classico DOC Superiore, produced by Castello della Sala for Marchesi Antinori, is a white wine that shows cleanliness and precision in its aromatic profile. It appears in a straw-yellow color with slight greenish reflections. On the nose it offers notes of white flowers, citrus peel and white peach, accompanied by subtle hints of aromatic herbs and discreet minerality. On the palate it shows balanced freshness, pleasant sapidity and a medium-bodied structure, with a harmonious finish recalling citrus and white-fleshed fruit. Ideal with appetizers, fish and shellfish, white meats and fresh cheeses; serve around 10–12 °C.

The character is measured and suits both convivial moments and more formal dinners: a white with restrained personality that highlights dishes without overpowering them. It is best appreciated young or within a short period to preserve the lively aromatics typical of the denomination. A versatile companion for those seeking an elegant, clean and approachable wine, to pair with seasonal menus or small tasting menus.
