The Sangiovese Il Notturno from Drei Donà appears in the glass with a medium, ruby hue and good clarity. On the nose it presents a profile of fresh red fruits, cherry and raspberry, accompanied by light notes of Mediterranean herbs and sweet spices; the intensity is moderate and never overpowering. On the palate the wine is slender, supported by good acidity and tannins that are present but soft; the finish is clean, with fruity echoes that persist without weighing down the wine.

This is a versatile wine, suitable for near-term consumption yet able to accompany everyday dishes: cured meats and medium-aged cheeses, tomato-based pasta and white meats. Recommended serving temperature is cool, around 16–18 °C, in tulip-shaped glasses to enhance its aromas. Store protected from light and thermal shocks; once opened, consume within a few days to appreciate its freshness. Ideal for those seeking an accessible, easy-drinking red.

Winery history
Terroir and vineyards
Awards and recognitions
