On the nose there are echoes of freshly cut grass, grapefruit and white peach, balanced by a mineral thread that provides precision. On the palate it shows a lean structure, lively acidity and a savory finish that invites another sip without feeling excessive or heavy. The acidic tension is paired with a pleasant texture that extends the wine's persistence.

Winery history

The Linticlar estate is first documented in 1225; Castel Turmhof has been owned by the family since 1675. An organised winery operation is recorded from 1848; the family has managed the estate for generations (now 5th/6th generation).

Production philosophy

Quality- and terroir-focused: expressive wines mainly from estate-grown grapes, controlled cellar ageing, vineyard stewardship with attention to sustainability and family tradition. Produces distinct ranges (e.g., Merus, Turmhof, Linticlarus, Vigna).
