The Savigny Les Beaune "Les Montchenevoy" produced by Patrick Javillier is an excellence of Burgundy, a renowned French wine region. This red wine stands out for its elegant complexity and refined expression of the terroir. Made from Pinot Noir grapes, famous for their ability to convey subtlety and depth, "Les Montchenevoy" offers an aromatic bouquet rich in notes of ripe red fruit, subtle spices, and a touch of damp earth that recalls the characteristics of the calcareous soil of Savigny-lès-Beaune.

On the palate, it reveals itself to be well-structured, with soft yet present tannins that promise excellent aging potential. The taste persistence is remarkable, leaving traces of cherry, strawberry, and a slight mineral vein on the finish.

Ideal for accompanying red meat dishes, game, or aged cheeses, Patrick Javillier's "Les Montchenevoy" is a wine that enchants with its elegance and depth, magnificently representing the tradition and quality of Burgundy winemaking.

Region: Borgogna (Côte de Beaune)
Country: Francia
Founded: 1945
Grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
Based in Meursault, at the heart of Burgundy's great white wine production. Vineyards located in several communes of the Côte de Beaune. The domaine's area is reported to be approximately 11 hectares. Strong specialization in Chardonnay with extended aging and the use of barrels for white wines. Family-run in its third generation
Winery history
The family's first parcels were reorganized by Raymond Javillier upon his return from the war; the family business then developed under his son Patrick, who took the reins in the 1970s. In subsequent years the estate expanded its vineyards, and today its management involves the third generation, with Marion and Pierre-Emmanuel active respectively in winemaking, sales and vineyard management.
Production philosophy
An approach focused on respect for the terroir and on reasoned viticulture. In the cellar the philosophy is one of moderate intervention: use of indigenous yeasts, careful vinification and separate aging by parcel, with extended lees aging for the whites and a measured use of oak.
Terroir and vineyards
The domaine is located in Meursault, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. Its parcels are situated across several communes and climats in the area, including Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses, with bottles covering village-level and Premier Cru appellations and references to Grand Cru.
