Pairing Aperitifs, appetizers, fish
Spumante Mattia Vezzola Brut from Costaripa shows a fresh, linear profile, marked by fine, persistent bubbles that lift aromas of green apple, citrus and white flowers. The nose is restrained but interesting, with a slight hint of bread crust that adds complexity without weighing it down. On the palate it is vibrant: the acidity is well balanced, the structure lean, and the sapidity carries the sip to a clean, fairly persistent finish. It feels smooth and medium-bodied, with a savory mid-palate and citrus returns that lengthen the finish.

It’s a versatile wine, designed for the aperitif but able to stand up to light seafood dishes, seafood starters and delicate fried foods; it also pairs well with simple white meats. Serve chilled but not ice-cold, in glasses that highlight freshness and perlage. Perfect for informal tables but elegant enough for more refined occasions. For those looking for an everyday sparkle with balance and easy drinkability, it offers immediate pleasure without giving up a pleasant, incisive flavor.
