This whisky, presented in a 70cl bottled case, displays surprising depth and complexity. With a bright golden color, Togouchi 15 years reveals a balanced bouquet of aromas on the nose: notes of vanilla, honey, and light chocolate nuances intertwine with hints of dried fruit and sweet spices. On the palate, its velvety and soft texture invites the discovery of a rich flavor of malt, caramel, and a light peat, enhanced by a slight peppermint and touches of smoked wood that intertwine pleasantly.
The finish of Togouchi 15 years is long and warm, with persistent echoes of spices and a sweetness reminiscent of toffee, making it an excellent companion for moments of reflection or to conclude a special evening with a last sip of priceless quality.
This strategic aging in tunnels, combined with the region’s very pure water and the mastery of the distillers, makes Togouchi 15 years a sublime example of how tradition and innovation can merge, creating a product with an unmistakable and cosmopolitan charm, suitable for collectors and connoisseurs who seek extraordinary tasting experiences.

Distillation
The historic blends do not originate from in-house distillation but from blending and ageing of imported distillates; the more recent single malts are distilled using traditional methods at the Sakurao Distillery.
Ageing
Maturation in casks using characteristic warehouses (including an underground tunnel in Togouchi/Akiota with constant temperature and humidity); use of primary maturation followed by finishes in different cask types.
