On the palate, Togouchi Premium is smooth and silky, with a structure that mixes the sweetness of honey and dried fruit with hints of pepper and mild spices. The finish is pleasantly long, leaving an aftertaste of cereal with a subtle hint of smoke, typical of the peat used.
The gift package includes two elegant glasses that enhance the tasting experience, making this whisky a great choice for a sophisticated gift or to enrich one's own collection. The presentation in a gift box not only enhances its aesthetics but also makes it a valuable item for collectors and enthusiasts.
Togouchi Premium is ideal to be enjoyed neat, to fully appreciate all its nuances, or with a small addition of water to bring out further aromatic profiles. A true gem of Japanese distillation, it marries tradition and innovation in an amber liquid of rare elegance.

Distillation
The historic blends do not originate from in-house distillation but from blending and ageing of imported distillates; the more recent single malts are distilled using traditional methods at the Sakurao Distillery.
Ageing
Maturation in casks using characteristic warehouses (including an underground tunnel in Togouchi/Akiota with constant temperature and humidity); use of primary maturation followed by finishes in different cask types.
