This Toscana IGT Rosso from Villa Antinori, presented in a Jeroboam format and packaged in a wooden case, offers an elegant, characterful expression. In the glass it shows an intense, compact colour; the aromatic profile is straightforward and recognisable, with notes of ripe fruit and subtle hints of spice and floral nuance. It is a wine conceived to accompany convivial moments and occasions where a modern yet tradition-respecting Italian expression is sought. The wooden case enhances the bottle for presentation.

On the palate it appears structured and balanced, with present but well-integrated tannins and a good balance between freshness and body. The Jeroboam bottle suits shared moments or a gift, while the wooden case underlines care in presentation. Recommended with roasted meats, aged cheeses or rich dishes, provided it is served at an appropriate temperature to appreciate its complexity and persistence.

The property entered the Antinori holdings in the 1930s; the estate’s modern winemaking development took place from the late 1980s–1990s. First documented vintage of Vermentino at the estate: 1996.
Production philosophy
To express the Bolgheri terroir through parcel selection, experimentation in the vineyard and cellar, and practices focused on quality and respect for the territory.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the Bolgheri DOC (Upper Maremma) on a plain encircled by gentle hills known as the “Bolgheri Amphitheatre.” Climate is moderated by sea breezes; alluvial soils range from sandy-clay to silty-clay with fine gravel (Bolgheri agglomerate), influencing the character of varieties grown (Cabernet, Merlot, Vermentino, etc.).
