The Valpolicella Classico Superiore San Giorgio of Corte Rugolin is born in the heart of the traditional DOC Valpolicella Classica, a territory rich in wine history at the foothills of the Verona hills. This wine stands out for the predominant use of the native grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella, which give the blend an authentic and dynamic character. The aging, carried out for several months in fine-grained wooden barrels, gives the wine structure and softness, enhancing its aromatic qualities. The San Giorgio offers an elegant bouquet to the nose, with hints of ripe cherry, sweet spices, and light floral notes. On the palate, it is harmonious, with a medium body well balanced by a pleasant freshness and velvety tannins, inviting another sip. An excellent companion to typical Venetian cuisine dishes, such as pumpkin tortelli or roasted meats, it is an excellence that embodies the sincere soul of Valpolicella.
