The Verdeca Salento IGP by Paolo Leo is a true enological gem emerging from the vibrant lands of Salento. This white wine, made from 100% Verdeca grapes, is renowned for its freshness and liveliness, making it an ideal companion for palates seeking unique and refined sensations.

The color is a delicate straw yellow with greenish reflections, typical of this variety. On the nose, Paolo Leo's Verdeca Salento offers a surprisingly rich and aromatic bouquet. One can perceive notes of green apple, white peach, and subtle hints of citrus and white flowers, intertwining into a pleasantly fresh and seductive aroma.

On the palate, this wine proves to be fresh, mineral, and well-balanced. Its lively acidity helps maintain a pleasant aromatic persistence, with a slight almond note in the finish that adds complexity to the sip.

The winemaking process is carefully monitored to preserve the varietal characteristics and the intrinsic freshness of Verdeca. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures, followed by a short maturation period in stainless steel tanks, to keep all the primary aromas intact.

Paolo Leo's Verdeca Salento IGP is optimal as an aperitif but also pairs wonderfully with fish dishes, seafood, and vegetable-based preparations. It is perfect for a light summer meal or as a refined accompaniment during a reception.

This wine not only encapsulates the essence of the Salento terroir but also stands as an emblematic example of Paolo Leo's skill in producing high-quality white wines that intrigue and delight the palate. A must for anyone wishing to explore the typicity and elegance of Southern Italian whites.
