The Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOCG - Riserva Plenio, produced by the renowned Umani Ronchi winery, is a white wine that represents the excellence of winemaking in the Marche region. This wine is distinguished by its complexity and elegance, being a reserve that is meticulously cared for to enhance every nuance of the Verdicchio varietal.

It originates from vineyards located in the prestigious area of Castelli di Jesi, where the unique microclimate and limestone soil impart distinctive characteristics to the wine. The harvest is carried out manually, usually towards the end of September, when the grapes reach a perfect balance of ripeness.

In the winery, the vinification process begins with controlled temperature fermentation, followed by a long refinement on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks, allowing the wine to develop complex layers of aromas and flavors. Subsequently, the wine matures in wooden barrels for several months before bottling.

At tasting, the Plenio offers an intriguing bouquet of aromas: white flowers, notes of yellow-fleshed fruit like peach and apricot, and hints of bitter almond that are typical of Verdicchio. On the palate, it is rich and well-structured, with a surprising freshness and a long, persistent finish.

This wine is ideal for pairing with elaborate fish dishes, seafood, white meats, and aged cheeses. Its refinement also makes it perfect as a meditation wine. Serve at a temperature of about 10-12°C to fully appreciate its range of flavors and aromas.

With its combination of tradition and innovation, Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOCG - Riserva Plenio - Umani Ronchi captivates the most demanding palates, offering a high-quality wine experience that celebrates the terroir of the Marche.
