This Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva from Tenuta Pian delle Vigne by Marchesi Antinori presents a mature, measured profile, typical of the appellation. In the glass it shows a deep, clear colour; on the nose there are notes of ripe fruit, sweet spices and earthy nuances that blend with delicate balsamic hints. The palate is enveloping and well balanced, with present but refined tannins, acidity that supports the structure and a persistent finish where the aromas perceived on the nose return. The complexity is moderate but well defined, with a balance of body and elegance that keeps the wine coherent throughout the tasting.

Treat with care alongside red meat dishes, roasts and aged cheeses; it enhances savory, rustic preparations without overpowering them. Serve at a controlled temperature and decant if necessary to open the aromas; it suits those seeking a Riserva wine with a composed personality, ideal for contemplative moments or for dinners where the wine's structure can express itself calmly. It also lends itself to further development in bottle for those wishing to wait a few years, while remaining enjoyable already now.
