Pairing Red meat and game
Villa Cigliano Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione by Marchesi Antinori is a red wine characterized by measured balance and a decisive personality. It shows an intense ruby color with slight garnet edges; on the nose it offers a range of aromas from ripe red fruit to deeper nuances, complemented by floral notes and subtle spice. On the palate, the acidity is lively and well balanced, the tannins are polished yet present, providing a solid structure that carries the sip through a long, persistent finish with fruity and spicy echoes.

It pairs easily with red meat dishes, roasts and aged cheeses, and also responds well to heartier matches featuring mushrooms or structured sauces. To appreciate its expression, a short decanting is recommended; the ideal serving temperature is around 18 °C. It is a suitable choice for both convivial dinners and occasions when one seeks a bottle representative of Marchesi Antinori's Gran Selezione offering.
